The Snatcher… one of the league’s top ball thieves averaging 2.1 steals per game for his career… made a successful transformation from being just a second-rate point guard to one of the country’s top playmakers… averaged a second-leading 5.4 assists per game last year… broke into the PBA in 2000 as Pop Cola’s direct recruit… signed as a free agent by the Express in their maiden year (2001)… the Aklan-born guard quickly stamped his class as the Express’ lead guard pacing the team in assists, points and rebounds... played for the Laguna Lakers in the defunct MBA where he gained reputation as a hard-nosed player and one of the league’s toughest guards… despite the Express’ penchance for trading its star players, Wynne looks to be one of the team’s “untouchables” not only because he has game but also because his wife is the daughter of Express boss Lito Alvarez.
