Came in as part of the Miranda for Duremdes and Cabagnot mega deal in the mid-season… For a big man, he has a decent touch from mid-range… leave him open and he’ll knock in the open jumper… 15-foot jumpshot is almost automatic… plays hard on D and hustles on the boards… former San Beda College standout was drafted with the 15th pick in the 2001 PBA Draft with Tanduay… got to play for only season with the Rhum masters before getting the pink slip… labored under the RP-Lhuillier quintet and made good impressions enough for pro scouts to take notice… Sta. Lucia took the bite and signed him to a contract in 2004.
