Scouting Report:
The Tigers have been eyeing this Fil-Am point guard since the 2005 Draft (drafted 2nd overall by Sta. Lucia) and now they have him (finally!)… it cost them their point guard of the future in Denok Miranda but the Tigers didn’t mind even if they also had to swallow Kenneth Duremdes’ humungous half a million a month salary… Did not want to play for the Realtors and it clearly showed in his game… came with better credentials than Mark Caguioa so much so that Sta. Lucia bent on its No Fil-Am Policy and drafted this guy out of University of Hawaii-Hilo… gave the team fire not on the court but off-court when he refused to sign a contract with the team and went back to the US... changed his mind and decided to play here… after the season, he was back at it again… played in the Summer Pro League against team and league rules and Realtors’ top brass threatened to ban him from the league… sought forgiveness from the team and promised not to do it again… looks everything would end well, at least for now… “Cool Whip” has a natural feel for the game… at 6-1, he has the size to post-up smaller guards and has all the tools to be successful at this level: quickness, leadership ability, outside shooting, penetration, and playmaking ability… has a lot of promise, if his head holds up.
