The Giants rescued him from the land of the forgotten and gave him another shot in the pro league… one-time slam dunk champ in the amateurs from Metro Manila College… played in the PBL where he served notice as one of the most talented prospects in the amateurs... played for the Manila Metrostars in the MBA and was one of the team's most reliable frontcourt players... Together with Rommel Adducul they were an awesome twosome opposite main man Alex Compton...Went straight to the PBA in 2000 as Mobiline's direct recruit from the MBA... played three years for Mobiline/Talk N Text before he was traded to Alaska Milk for the tenth overall selection in the 2003 PBA Draft (Talk N Text used it on Jimmy Alapag)... Had trouble adjusting to Talk N Text's system and after only a year with the Aces, he was back to the Talk N Text fold... Purefoods signed him as a free agent in 2006.
