What does it mean when you get traded twice to aging players? In 1997, Andy was traded to Purefoods for Jerry Codinera… in 2004, he was traded to Brgy. Ginebra for Jun Limpot… A very big disappointment… 10 years into the league and hasn’t risen into the upper tier of the league’s top frontcourt players… when you consider that tommy manotoc declared prior to the draft that he was ten times much better than Marlou Aquino, then you would consider that disappointing… he isn’t even better than a 10% Marlou Aquino… Drafted 1st overall in the 1997 PBA Draft by Mobiline out of New Orleans University… won the 1997 ROY by default because no one else was better (ok Nic Belasco was a late bloomer)… injuries stymied his growth as a player… played in only 14 games in 2005… With the entry of Billy Mamaril, Rudy Hatfield and Rafi Reavis, he’s gonna be pushed to the end of the bench… he’s probably the league’s most expensive 3rd string center.
