Wesley GonzalesJersey number: 15

Scouting Report:
You gotta love Wesley… does not get much playing time playing as a 3rd string wing behind Danny Seigle, Lordy Tugade, Willie Wilson or Dondon Hontiveros and Cris Calaguio on the other side but contributes when given the opportunity to do so… shone in the finals of the 2006-07 Philippine Cup when coach Chot Reyes elected to use him… at 6’4” he’s tall for most guards and has great defensive instincts to be a able to be a factor on the defensive end… drafted by Air21 in 2004 as the 9th overall pick… the Express traded Yancy de Ocampo to get him… turned out to be a major disappointment… lost soul in the Express’ scheme of things… the team tried to trade him in 2005 to Red Bull so he could be reunited with ex-Ateneo teammates Paolo Bugia, Larry Fonacier and Enrico Villanueva… when the Barakos scorned the deal, the Express sent him to San Miguel prior to last year’s Philippine Cup for virtually nothing… was a scorer back in college for the Blue Eagles but has made transition to a role player in the pros.
