Long forgotten as a bit player in the pros, Rensy made a successful return to the pro league following an impressive performance in the Indonesian Basketball League where he copped MVP honors… decent showing with Shell during his rookie year in 2005 probably was still vivid in the memory of the Aces’ coaching staff that’s why he got the nod over numerous point guards in the free agent market… was drafted 24th pick overall in the 2002 PBA Draft by Shell… after failing to come to terms with the Turbochargers, he drifted to the PBL where he played remarkably to gain Shell’s attention... steady perimeter shooting and playmaking ability were stamps that ensured him a roster spot.
