The 1995 PBA ROY awardee… was considered a steal by everyone after five teams passed up on him in the 1995 PBA Draft… made great strides with Alaska and was one of the vital cogs in the team’s several successful championship runs in the 90s… signed as a free agent with Mobiline after two years with Milk Kings… quickly became Mobiline’s go-to-guy… took his acts to Tanduay where he forged forces with Eric Menk and Rudy Hatfield to make the Rhum Masters a very formidable team in the pro league… after just two seasons, he was traded to Coca Cola… in 2004, he made a successful return to the Alaska franchise… a very good perimeter defender and free throw shooter, he can also lit up from afar but his trademark move is his slashing drives towards the hoop where he is almost unstoppable in transition.
