There was one time last season that Nino looked and played like a young Jeffrey Cariaso… that game was against Purefoods… he had 20 points and had numerous clutch baskets down the stretch… what we thought was a breakout game for the 26-year old from Mabalacat, Pampanga didn’t turn out to be… was back to his old self, the rest of the season… has talent – good mid-range game, high leaper, good finisher on the break, good defensive anticipation… mindset must be channeled to proving that he has what it takes to be a PBA star… has the tools but not the confidence, yet.
