The entry of Rudy Hatfield, Rafi Reavis and Billy Mamaril to the line-up further pushed Mike to the end of the Ginebra bench… that’s sad because this guy has talent, and there could be few teams who could utilize this guy and be able to help immediately… had a tremendous rookie season with the Gin Kings that showcased his ability to defend players on the perimeter, as well as players inside the paint… could shoot from the outside and run on the break unlike a lot of 6’6” players in the league… a very good rebounder, who despite his lithe frame, could battle it out against the big boys of opposing teams... drafted 7th overall by Ginebra in the 2005 PBA Draft out of San Diego State.
