The Giants felt his absence when he was named to the national team and had to miss out the entire Fiesta Cup… One of the game’s emerging power forwards…The maturity of Kerby came to a fore in the 2005-06 season which saw the kid from Orion Bataan averaged career-highs in points (15 ppg), rebounds (9.5 rpg), assists (3.0 apg) and blocks (58 blocks)... Performance earned him a spot on the 2005-06 All-PBA First Team... A very intense and emotional player... Can play on the perimeter or in the post... Very versatile talent who was once featured in NBADRAFT.NET as one of the fast-rising NBA prospects in Asia during his rookie season with the Bulls... one of six players directly elevated by the Red Bull Barakos when they entered the league in 2000… After playing just 6 games in his rookie season, he was suspended by the league after it was discovered he faked his documents that he completed his high school studies a year later... Traded to Purefoods in 2002 for future considerations... Nicknamed "The Kid", because like his idol Kevin Garnett of the Minnesota Timberwolves, he entered the pro league at such a young age (19 yrs)... Full name is Kerby Mariano Raymundo...
