Where did he come from?… Came out of nowhere to become the team’s primary inside weapon… Coach Yeng Guiao and his coaching staff should be commended for discovering this great talent out of the free agency market… it cost them nothing, and gave them so much in return, getting tremendous leverage by putting Enrico Villanueva on the bench… Barakos ripped the entire league for finding this diamond-in-the-rough… now, teams are beginning to look at the likes of Jerwin Gaco, Mark Kong, Marlon Legaspi, and Jay-Ar Estrada and check if they have an untapped potential like Carlo… Very very strong physical specimen… could rebound with the best of ‘em… scores from inside and outside, although does most of work underneath… Drafted 12th overall in the 2004 PBA Draft by the Shell Turbochargers… much better prospect than Rommel Adducul who was drafted 2nd in 2003… brother Al Huseini is playing college ball for the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP.
