KBL's Thunders stops PBA's Express

Korean Basketball League's Seoul Samsung Thunders continues its impressive showing in the 2007 Grand Waldo - Asian Basketball Association Championship in Dongguan, China by trashing this time the Philippine Basketball Association's Air21 Express, 111-86.
The Thunders, bannered by its imports Terrence Leather and Tyrone Sally which scored 23 and 21 points a piece, showed their full dominance of the game by leading all of the quarters. Thunders also trashed Hongkong's Winlin, 101-62, in its first assignment.
The 25 point margin by the Thunders also came with the help of former Korea's national team hotshot Lee Sang-Min (183-G-72) which poured 14 points. Kang Hyuk, Lee Kyu Sup, Park Jong chun and Lee Won Soo also scored in double figures that added to the Thunders' dominance.
Import Shawn Daniels, Arwind Santos and Ranidel De Ocampo, which scored 18, 14 and 11, respectively, failed to match the intensity of the Thunders.
Express will next face Chinese Basketball Association's powerhouse team of Liaoning Pandas, semi-finalist of the last CBA Season.
