Aces whip Tigers

The Alaska Aces kept the Coca-Cola Tigers still winless in the PBA pre-season games, coming away with a 95-89 victory yesterday at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) gym.

The Aces clinched the win by scoring the last six points of the game that remained tied until the final 47 seconds.

John Ferriols completed a three-point play off a Mark Isip foul to break an 89-89 deadlock, before the Aces finally put the outcome of the game beyond doubt on three straight free throws by Ferriols and Tony dela Cruz.
