Probably the league’s best back-up point guard… problem was, he is a starter… started in 22 of the team’s 22 games… at less than 5’7”, he could not shoot even if you lower the hoop to 8 feet… so how does a guy become a factor if he can’t shoot straight at 5’6” something… tremendous leaper… could probably dunk during warm-ups (err, when no one’s looking)… very very fast… could outsprint a gazelle and you know I’m not kidding… only paul artadi is probably faster… the league’s best defensive player pound for pound, inch for inch, kilo for kilo… Former San Sebastian standout represents what a Barako should be – tough, team-oriented, never-say-die and does not shy away from challenges… once worked as a TV analyst for PBL games.
