Without a doubt, the best “pure” shooter in the land… resides on a different plane as far as shooting is concerned… belongs up there with Allan Caidic, Boy Cabahug, Atoy Co, Bogs Adornado, Adriano Papa and all of Philippine basketball best shooters of all time… drafted by the Express in the first round (8th overall) in the 2002 PBA Draft… great bargain… would went on to win 2002 ROY award… despite being considered as the face of the franchise, it did not prepare him for getting traded to Talk N Text in 2006, just before the start of the Philippine Cup… defense is so-so… was spotted playing defense once, back in high school… does make an effort on D but at a puny 6-0 160 lbs and not athletic enough, he often gets overpowered by the bigger guards in the league… played varsity ball for DLSU Green Archers, forming a solid 1-2 punch in the backcourt with Mike Cortez.
