The man with the golden touch… the "Golden Boy" Noy Castillo will go down in history as one of the purest shooters to ever grace the PBA hardcourt… Averaged career lows in points (3.6 ppg), rebounds (0.7 rpg), assists (0.87 apg) in his 9-year PBA career... drafted second overall behind San Miguel's Danny Ildefonso in the 1998 PBA Draft.. attended Citadel Military College of South Carolina, a division I school in the US NCAA... averaged 10.5 ppg in his four-year stint with the varsity... 2001 Most Improved Player and 2001 PBA Mythical Team member... named to the 2002 RP Team in Busan, South Korea... very dangerous in the clutch, where he can unload just everything in his vast arsenal of offensive tools... very difficult to stop in the open court because of his quick feet and agressive assault... reminds you of former Purefoods players Boy Cabahug, because of his accurate jumpers, and Elmer Reyes, because of his deadly penetration skills... plays backup to both James and Roger Yap as a combo guard.
