Got a look after Mick Pennisi was loaned to the national team… for a big man, he has a nice touch from the perimeter… ok let me put it this way – a 6’7” guard in a center’s body… can be seen most of the time drifting on the perimeter… when was the last time you saw him post up and utilize his bulk to score inside?... drafted 2nd overall in the 2001 PBA Draft by Shell… traded to Purefoods in 2004 because he did not see eye-to-eye with coach Leo Austria (Austria preferred Ervin Sotto who was his “boy” in his Welcoat amateur team)… had a tremendous start with Purefoods until an injury bug bit him and killed his season with the Hotdogs… traded to Red Bull to complete the Kerby Raymundo trade in 2002.
