Scouting Report:
Will finally get the chance to prove that he is no bust!... The Coca-Cola Tigers traded him to the big guard-starved Realtors for a pair of FEU stalwarts in Mark Isip and Cesar Catli... “The Ninja”… got the nickname because of his high-flying acts on the floor… has improved perimeter shooting skills added to this offensive arsenal… very tough and fearless with his drives… scouts doubt if he could carry on his impressive performance in the amateur ranks to the pros… too short to play the “2” spot and does not have the playmaking ability to thrive in the point guard spot… compensates for his lack of size in the off-guard spot with his tenacious defense… drafted 3rd overall in the 2006 PBA Draft just behind Kelly Williams and Arwind Santos… ex-Green Archer was famous for his squabbles with Ateneo alum and rival Enrico Villanueva… it started in a charity game featuring former and current stars of Ateneo and De la Salle, and carried on to a regular PBA game pitting the Barakos against the Tigers… When they saw each other in the parking lot, they were at it again… there’s no question there’s bad blood between them… led his PBL team Harbour Centre Portmasters to its first PBL crown alongside, curiously, ex-Ateneo star LA Tenorio.
