In his young pro career, Ervin has been a sort of a journeyman, playing for five different teams Purefoods, Shell, Brgy. Ginebra, Air21, and Coca Cola in three years which indicates both good and bad for him… it’s good since he’s always finding some teams to take a chance on him… it could also bode bad since a lot of teams have already passed up on him… he's back with Air21 right now after a brief stint with Coca Cola... with the Express' apparent lack in "big men", he's certainly "a lock" to play... drafted 7th overall in the 2004 PBA Draft by Purefoods… spent most of his young pro career on the bench… teams love his perimeter shooting skills for a big man but his frail body keeps him from dominating on the post…former St. Francis of Assisi star… averaged a career-best 3.3 points per game for Brgy Ginebra in 2006.
