Drafted 3rd overall in the 2003 PBA Draft by Shell after a colorful stint in the UAAP, PBL and the MBA… the multi-talented forward who was likened to Rey Evangelista because of his rebounding ability, nose for the ball and inside moves… after a single season with the Turbochargers, he was traded to Purefoods along with a first round pick (Ervin Sotto) for Billy Mamaril… strickened with injuries, he never got to recover his old game back and his confidence plummeted… he was never the same player again and struggled to find his niche as a Giant… he was plucked by the Aces prior to the 2006 season and slowly got his confidence back… he replaced Rich Alvarez’s slot on the team who was traded for two first round picks (Aaron Aban and a 2007 first round pick)
