Bo!... carried Air21 to an Express trip the past 2 seasons, probably the best among the mentors who coached the Express previously, and all he gets is the possibility of getting replaced by the Big J… led the Express to a 3rd place finish in the 2005-06 Fiesta Cup, its best finish ever… Bo has religiously adhered to the Express’ 12-man philosophy and run-and-gun type of game, something that was a bane to previous coaches… the Express finally gets a coach who follows the system, implements it, and makes the desired results and then you replace him? What are you thinking? … so what if he hasn’t led the Express yet to the finals, blame it on management, not him… witnessed more trades… he has seen talents like Macmac Cardona, Renren Ritualo, Yancy de Ocampo, Jean Marc Pingris, Anthony Washington, John Ferriols getting traded as fast as its reputed service… played college ball for the UP Fighting Maroons in the UAAP and coached numerous teams before making his PBA coaching debut.
